Great book to help explain how & when to perform specific statistical analysis for a research project. Wish it had better explanations of the results produced.

As a doctoral student in psychology (not in statistics) I found it very helpful. I learned to use SPSS for the needs of my dissertation just using this book, with no additional help. I appreciated the detailed explanation of each procedure, and references to more in-depth books. I used it with SPSS for Windows version 19, it still was very applicable.
I've had this book for a while, and I still haven't had the need for it. It was assigned for a statistics class I had, but again I haven't needed to use it.
Very clearly and concisely explained; I purchased this book to assist me with a Project write up for my degree as I was failing to grasp some of the concepts of the F ratio and what it actually meant, and despite substantial research couldn't get a straight answer. This book gave it to me straight away, which helped clear my mind to see where I was going wrong with my results section. I will also be using this later on this year with my new module which deals with more complex statistics and reporting as it covers everything in such an easy to understand manner. Thoroughly recommend.
